Last week, our celebration of the 2020 ASAE Power of A Summit Award winners looked a bit different than usual, yet our showing was strong as our community. More than 1,500 association professionals registered for the virtual event, which honored the six Summit winners and the 60 Gold and Silver recipients who make exemplary societal contributions and are positive influences in our daily lives.

Along with remarks from ASAE President and CEO Susan Robertson, CAE, we heard from event co-chairs Patricia V. Blake, FASAE, CAE, CEO, Heart Rhythm Society and Craig Purser, President and CEO, National Beer Wholesalers Association.  Attendees also had opportunities to experience a cooking demonstration, mixology class, live music by five-time Grammy Award winner Keb’ Mo’, and comedy by Kasha Patel and Robert Mac. The evening was made even more special with a musical performance by singer songwriter Caitlyn Smith. Musical entertainment was provided by Nashville and Music City Center.

We are thankful to the event’s host committee and sponsors and for all those who attended. You can learn about this year’s six Summit Award winners by watching their videos and reading about them here:
