ASAE today announced the winners of the 2020 Power of A Awards, created to bring attention to the association community’s valuable contributions to society at the local, national and global levels. The winners were selected by the Power of A Awards Judging Committee. This year the committee received a total of 125 entries. This year, the Power of A Award categories were retooled to fully encapsulate the association community’s contributions to the professions and industries they represent, but also to society at large. The new award categories include: The Power of Advocacy, The Power of Industry/Professional Advancement, The Power of Global Development, The Power of Diversity and Inclusion, and The Power of Community Support and Engagement.

The 2020 Summit Award winners include the American Council of Life Insurers, Washington, DC; American Geophysical Union, Washington, DC; American Public Power Association, Arlington, VA; Coin Laundry Association, Oakbrook Terrace, IL; Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, Fairfield, NJ; and National Association for the Education of Young Children, Washington, DC.

In addition to the six Summit Award winners, the Power of A Awards Judging Committee selected 21 association programs to receive a Power of A Gold Award and 39 associations to receive a Power of A Silver Award.
