ASAE will host a program April 1 from 3-5 p.m. to examine how association government relations professionals plan and execute a successful legislative fly-in to take their organizations’ advocacy messages directly to elected officials. The program, supported by ASAE’s Power of A program and the Government Relations Section Council, is part of ASAE’s Government Relations Symposium Series.

Panelists for the program include Chad Lawler, executive director of the Madison Area Builders Association; Elizabeth Sukut, a legislative aide to Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL); Randy Dwyer, director of advocacy and grassroots for the American Farm Bureau Federation; and Rachel Ver Velde, chief of staff for Congressman Glenn Grothman (R-WI).

The April 1 program will be held at ASAE’s offices in Washington, DC. A networking reception will be held after the program from 5-6 p.m. Visit the ASAE website to register.
