A few weeks ago, we asked you to send us examples of the vast and varied types of standards your organization sets, so that we can bring to life all the great ways associations strengthen America and the world. Those of you who replied are included in a new webpage dedicated to The Power of A In Action.

One of our most important messages is that associations create standards of safety, quality, sustainability and more to help industries serve the public – every day and in every way. If you’d like to be included in this page, please send us a short paragraph on the type of standards you set; the goals of your standards; when they were implemented and who has benefited. We will include your information as soon as possible.

In addition to the web page, we will incorporate your standards into American Associations Day materials. We’ll also share your good work via the Power of A on Twitter.

If your organization hasn’t created standards and you want to contribute, don’t worry! We will soon be collecting more information on how our community enhances lives, forges a more trained and highly competitive workforce, builds the economy, drives innovation and makes a better world.

Please email your materials to Mary Kate Cunningham at mcunningham@asaecenter.org. Thank you very much!
