Through ASAE’s Power of A campaign, we educate policymakers, the public and other stakeholders about how associations strengthen America. One of our most important messages is that associations create standards of safety, quality, sustainability and more to help industries serve the public – every day and in every way.
We’re hoping you will help us demonstrate the vast and varied types of standards we set, by emailing us examples of the standards your association has developed and implemented. Here’s what we need: the type of standards you set; the goals of your standards; when they were implemented and who has benefited. Also, please feel free to send us a copy or a link to where we can find them on the web.
We will be collecting your materials and placing them on www.ThePowerofA.org, as well as incorporating them into American Associations Day materials. We’ll also share your good work via the Power of A on Twitter.
If your organization hasn’t created standards and you want to contribute, don’t worry! We will soon be collecting more information on how our community enhances lives, forges a more trained and highly competitive workforce, builds the economy, drives innovation and makes a better world.
Please email your materials to Mary Kate Cunningham at firstname.lastname@example.org by the end of June. Thank you very much!
