ASAE hosted its second ‘Power of A’ luncheon in Chicago, bringing the Power of A story to the Windy City’s robust association community and recognizing last year’s Chicagoland Power of A Award winning associations.
Those who joined the event learned how they can use the Power of A to help advance their individual organizations, as well as achieve our common goal of broadening stakeholders’ understanding of how associations strengthen America. Attendees also learned about the many tools and resources that are available at www.ThePowerOfA.org.
The luncheon was hosted by the chairman of the Power of A Committee, Paul Pomerantz, FASAE, CAE, chief executive officer at the American Society of Anesthesiologists and Michelle Mason, CAE, FASAE, president and CEO of Association Forum.
ASAE’s public policy team was on hand to share updates about the updated Power of A website, including where to find details about entering the 2017 Power of A Awards, which have a deadline of April 30. During the luncheon, representatives from two of last year’s Summit Award winners, the Public Library Association and Association for Corporate Growth, recapped for the audience the benefits they, their volunteers and staff realized from winning the award.
We hope to see you all at future events, including the Summit Awards Dinner on October 4 during which the 2017 honorees will be celebrated.
