ASAE has announced the six winners of the 2016 Power of A Summit Awards, our annual recognition of associations and their programs that make exemplary commitments to creating a stronger America and world and are positive influences in the daily lives of society at large.

This year, ASAE received a record number of Power of A Award entries, with a total of 85 programs receiving gold and silver honors this year. From among the gold winners, the following six Summit Award winners were selected: Public Library Association (Every Child Ready to Read); The American College of Chest Physicians (China-CHEST Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program); National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (Boat Operations and Training Program); American Counseling Association (Grow-Connect-Empower! Toolkit); Association for Corporate Growth (; and Indiana CPA Society (CPA Center of Excellence).

ASAE’s Power of A Awards highlight the association community’s valuable contributions to society on the local, national and global level. They honor the outstanding accomplishments of associations and industry professionals in the areas of enriching lives, creating a competitive workforce, preparing society for the future, driving innovation and making a better world.

The winners will be formally recognized at the 17th Annual Power of A – Summit Awards Dinner on  October 5 at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC.
