ASAE this week named the 2015 winners of its Power of A Awards, which showcase how associations leverage their unique resources to solve problems, advance industry/professional performance, kick-start innovation and improve world conditions.

The Power of A Awards Judging Committee, chaired this year by Hugh “Mac” Cannon, MPA, CAE, executive director of ACEC of Metropolitan Washington, reviewed more than 140 entries this year and selected 30 Power of A Gold Award winners and 31 Power of A Silver Award winners. The full list of 2015 winners can be seen here.

Power of A Gold Award winners are automatically entered into consideration for a Summit Award, ASAE’s highest honor for association work. Summit Award judging will take place later this month.

“Each year, the Power of A Awards recognize the lasting, positive impact associations have on society,” said ASAE President and CEO John H. Graham, FASAE, CAE. “The awards give us a chance to celebrate the extraordinary activities that associations undertake. They give us specific, moving stories that we can share with policymakers, the media, and other key audiences to increase awareness about the association sector and its contributions to America and on a global level.”
