It’s been over two years since the issue of federal employee attendance at conferences became a topic for both cable news and Congressional hearings. ASAE will host a special Power of A Alliance Forum breakfast on the topic titled, Association Meetings and Federal Employees: Where Do We Go From Here?

The event will take place Wednesday, October 29 at ASAE at 8:30am. Join to discuss the legislative response to the issue, and how the association community can work together to encourage government participation at association meetings.

The distinguished panel includes: John H. Graham IV, FASAE, CAE, President and CEO of ASAE; Kris Cook, CAE, Executive Director of the National Affordable Housing Management Association; Diana Deem, Director, Congressional and Political Affairs of the American Institute of CPAs; and Tom Dobbins, CAE, President of the American Composites Manufacturers Association. To RSVP email Mary Kate Cunningham at mcunningham@asaecenter.org or call 202.626.2787.

After the program ASAE will send a summary of the discussion and the outcomes. Participants and those across the country are encouraged to join the conversion during the event on Twitter using #pwra and by following @Power of A.
