On July 11 association executives from over 30 organizations met with Congressman Dave Joyce (R-OH) at ASAE to discuss critical public policy issues impacting associations. ASAE members from a diverse group of trade and professional associations as well as charitable organizations were in attendance.

During the discussion ASAE members brought up issues the impact the association community, such as ACA implementation and potential tax reform. The conversation highlighted the important work associations do across the country to improve the economy and society. From training our nation’s workforce to driving safety and sustainability standards, the vital association and nonprofit industry seed progress.

This event was one of a series of Power of A events, a campaign which highlights how associations tap into the power of millions to create a stronger America and world.
