ASAE Program to Highlight 1099 Issues
As reported in last week’s Inroads, the IRS is seeking comments on a new requirement in the health care reform bill that will require all businesses and tax-exempt organizations to issue a Form 1099 to vendors from whom they buy goods totaling $600 or more annually. To educate the association community on the requirements as well as solicit feedback and concerns, ASAE will hold a program specifically on the 1099 reporting in September. Continue reading
