The SFPA is a nonprofit, 501c3 membership association representing 1200 prehospital care professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area. During down economies, we see an influx of new and returning health care providers coming back into patient care industries. We work to increase out our capacity to provide the certificate courses they need to go to work.

We also work closely with industry partners such as fire departments and EMS agencies to provide a lower cost solution to their medical training needs. Our advocacy roots ensures that the resources we provide are current, highly relevant and well integrated into their work routine.

Finally, we provide input and feedback to local and state regulatory agencies that have long term impact to the emergency care system.
